Inspired by ~RoboElfSuperLee's recent deviation, Prague's Butcher [link] I have also decided to enter in the Mr/Miss Doll Famous contest here: [link] Like ~RoboElfSuperLee, I think more male dolls need to be entered into these things more often. Since you're allowed up to two entries, I also made Vice Admiral Horatio Nelson, 1st Viscount Nelson, 1st Duke of Bronté [link] The base is from Haven of Silindor [link] I used this portrait for reference: [link] The shield in the background is actually Wellington's coat of arms. Fun information: The Duke of Wellington was called the "Iron Duke" not because of his military career but because of the iron bars on the windows of his London house. Even when he returned to London from his military campaigns, the Duke of Wellington slept on a camp bed. |
