I made these forever ago (8/9/2007) for a contest. It was themed "Doll your favorite Band/Musician, and I made the Pogues circa their second album "Rum, Sodomy, and the Lash". The bases are from If Looks Could Kill. They're now located in ~blood-cocoa's gallery since ILCK closed. In the remastered booklet for the Pogues' second album were a bunch of portraits and a group picture in Nelson era naval uniforms. Working on a pixeled Wellington [link] and Nelson [link] I came back to these to realize how far I've come. In total, they probably took me around 15 hours altogether, and, nearly 2 years later, they're still, in my opinion, some of the best pixelations I've done. By contrast, Wellington and Nelson took about 4 hours each.

I also used a bunch of other individual shots in the Pogues gallery to match eye and hair color.
